The Zwilling J.A. Henckels Twin Cermax knives are manufactured to the highest standards in Japan.
Each blade consists of a powdermetallurgic core with a hardness of 66 on the Rockwell C-scale clad with two sides of a tough supporting steel.
The handles are inlayed with black linen Micarta which is polished to a high gloss.
The knives should not be used to cut bones or frozen food, as the extremely hard core is more brittle than other Zwilling J.A. Henckels series.
What you get in return are knives that glide through food as if it weren't there.
They literally cut like the proverbial laser and also hold their edges longer than convential knives.
