    The Chef'sChoice Model 310 will realign and polish the tips of serrated knives.
    However, the Models 120 and 320 are the best choice to use for this job.

    TIP: A straight edged knife sharpened on the Chef'sChoice Model 310 will do a much cleaner job of cutting a tomato or a loaf of bread than a serrated knife.

  • The Chef'sChoice Model 310 will not sharpen scissors, for this you need the ScissorPro® Model 500, that uses 100% diamond abrasives and similar technology to produce astonishingly sharp edges on a variety of scissors.

  • The Model 310 will sharpen pocketknives and hunting knives that can comfortably fit in the sharpening slots.

  • If your knives are dull, sharpen them according to the instructions in your instruction manual.
    You may use only stage 2 for resharpening, whenever the knives lose that razor-sharp, ultra-fine cutting edge, but are not considered really blunt.
    It normally takes 30 seconds to resharpen a knife.

  • The built-in magnetic guides hold the knife at a predetermined sharpening angle and also control the amount of sharpening pressure.

    When we give you a guaranteed time to ship, and we do not ship your order by that time, you’ll receive 30% of the order amount as a rebate on future orders.

  • The guarantee only applies to orders that are placed using our website.
  • The guaranteed time to ship, is the time that is shown at the moment that you confirm your order. In some cases this time may me different than the time shown on our website earlier; for instance when we stock two items and you order three.
  • If there are any open issues regarding your order, the given time to ship will start at the time all issues are solved.
  • If you want to make use of our etching service, you should add one business day to the given time.
  • The rebate that we give when your order does not ship within the guaranteed time can only be used for future orders.
  • When you return one or more items or cancel your order, the rebate on future orders that is eventually given, will be voided. If it has already been used, we will deduct it from the refund.
  • If we do not ship in time, you must claim the rebate within 30 days.
