Cold Steel is famous for raising the bar in the knife industry and Cold Steel new Recon I tactical folders are sure to set a new standard that will be hard to beat. Why? Because they are as tough as nails and will cut like a chain saw! Cold Steel has pulled out all the stops when they made these knives. Every facet of their construction has been over engineered to make them as strong, durable and effective as humanly possible. The blades are made out of Cold Steel proven AUS 8A stainless steel and the handles are thick Zytel, massively reinforced by heat treated steel liners and five locking bolts. To compliment their super tough blades and handles they each feature Cold Steel revolutionay Ultra Lock (patent pending) which practically precludes lock failure. To compliment their tactical mission Cold Steel have given each blade a tough black Teflon finish. Cold Steel testing has shown this coating or finish offers three major advantages for use on tactical blades. The first is it is highly resistant to scratches and abrasions while keeping rust at bay. The second is it eliminates glare and light reflections which may give its user away. The third is it's a superior lubricant which causes the blade to slip through even tough material with markedly less friction. This means you can cut deeper and far longer than with a non Teflon coated blade. To make the Recon I as easy to carry as possible, Cold Steel have equipped each knife with a small, extra strong pocket clip. This clip is completely ambidextruos so lefties take note. What's more its diminutive size doesn't abrade and irritate the palm under protracted use like a larger clip would.Kennzeichnen:

Products that we have in stock are shipped within 0 - 1 bussiness day, guaranteed. In other words, the day you place the order or the next bussiness day. On some other products we offer the same guarantee. Please read the text at the bottom of this page for more information!

Fast delivery, fair prices
Whenever you buy anything on the Internet, you want to get it as cheap as possible and you want to receive it as soon as possible.
To keep prices low, many Internet shops do not keep stock, and you will not know when your order is shipped. We do keep many products in stock, but not all. The number of products in our assortment is much larger than in any regular shop, and therefore we cannot keep all items in stock.
We do however guarantee fast shipping, on many products, and advice you on expected shipping times on other products.

Guaranteed and expected shipping time of your order
With every product on our website, we either list the guaranteed time to ship or the expected time to ship, which depends on our own stock position and the delivery time of our supplier.
We cannot guarantee the time it takes for your order to arrive after we shipped it. We give an indication for all shipping services, but we do not guarantee these transit times.

Our time to ship guarantee
When we give you a guaranteed time to ship, and we do not ship your order by that time, you’ll receive 30% of the order amount as a rebate on future orders.

Terms and conditions

The guarantee only applies to orders that are placed using our website.

The guaranteed time to ship, is the time that is shown at the moment that you confirm your order. In some cases this time may me different than the time shown on our website earlier; for instance when we stock two items and you order three.

If there are any open issues regarding your order, the given time to ship will start at the time all issues are solved.

If you want to make use of our etching service, you should add one business day to the given time.

The rebate that we give when your order does not ship within the guaranteed time can only be used for future orders.

When you return one or more items or cancel your order, the rebate on future orders that is eventually given, will be voided. If it has already been used, we will deduct it from the refund.

If we do not ship in time, you must claim the rebate within 30 days.

Een werkelijk prima, degelijk mes. Ik heb de serrated versie ("kartelrand") en dat was eigenlijk niet nodig - het neemt de helft van het lemmet in beslag en het normale gladde deel is al goed genoeg. Wel jammer van dit soort messen is dat je hem niet echt bij je kunt steken als je over straat moet, omdat het als wapen aangemerkt kan worden.
