Resin bonded waterstone 3000 grit
Fixed on plastic baseplate with non-skid rubber feet

This stone uses resin to bind the abrasives, in this case white aluminium oxide.
It does not soak up water and requires frequent wetting, but it can tailor the wear so the binder and abrasives wear at the same rate.
The stone doesn't produce much slurry, but cuts faster than other types.It also produces a finish finer than the grit size would indicate, as the binder is slightly flexible allowing for a finer scratch pattern.

These stone works best on harder types of steel
Splash with water before and during sharpening, do not soak or store in water.

Fast delivery, fair prices
Whenever you buy anything on the Internet, you want to get it as cheap as possible and you want to receive it as soon as possible.

With every product on our website, we either list the guaranteed time to ship or the expected time to ship, which depends on our own stock position and the delivery time of our supplier.
We cannot guarantee the time it takes for your order to arrive after we shipped it. We give an indication for all shipping services, but we do not guarantee these transit times.

Our time to ship guarantee
When we give you a guaranteed time to ship, and we do not ship your order by that time, you’ll receive 30% of the order amount as a rebate on future orders.

Terms and conditions

The guarantee only applies to orders that are placed using our website.

The guaranteed time to ship, is the time that is shown at the moment that you confirm your order. In some cases this time may me different than the time shown on our website earlier; for instance when we stock two items and you order three.

If there are any open issues regarding your order, the given time to ship will start at the time all issues are solved.

If you want to make use of our etching service, you should add one business day to the given time.

The rebate that we give when your order does not ship within the guaranteed time can only be used for future orders.

When you return one or more items or cancel your order, the rebate on future orders that is eventually given, will be voided. If it has already been used, we will deduct it from the refund.

If we do not ship in time, you must claim the rebate within 30 days.

Dit is een hele goede steen. Kwaliteit is gelijk aan de veel duurdere stenen. ik heb ook stenen met een veel grovere korrel die veel duurder zijn ( bekend merk) en merk geen verschil. Als je zorgt dat je bij het slijpen de gehele oppervlakte van de steen blijft gebruiken, kun je hem heel lang gebruiken zonder hem weer te moeten afvlakken. De levering was natuurlijk weer supersnel !

Maandelijks gebruik voor het slijpen van global messen. Vooral deze messen zijn perfect te slijpen met een super scherp eindresultaat. Gebruik wel bij echt botte messen korrel 120 dan 1000 en vervolgens 3000 voor echt scherpe messen. Voor het onderhouden is korrel 1000 en dan korrel 3000 prima echt een aanrader.

de grote messen hebben meer tijd nodig voor het slijpen en geven nog niet het scherptste resultaat. kleinere messen wel. wellicht meer oefenen in de hellingshoek en techniek
