Amefa is one of the largest manufacturers of flatware and kitchen knives worldwide. Their products are sold in over 50 countries, mainly in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. They produce over 100 series of flatware, all with very competitive pricing.

Company history
The story of Amefa started long ago in the city of Solingen where Mr. E. Hollaender in his younger years gained valuable experience in the traditional cutlery industry.
In 1931 he established himself in the Netherlands where he founded a highly successful knife factory and named it Amefa.
The company's growth was remarkable and soon a second factory was built in Neede.
In the new factory a new technique for the manufacture of Monoblock knives was developed; forging the complete knife from solid stainless steel.
The knives were a great international success and to strengthen further its already dominant role in the knife market the company developed a special business relationship with specialised cutlery producers in many countries throughout the world.
Thanks to Amefa's foresight and the special relationship developed, the company has been Europe's most important cutlery supplier and stockist for many years.
Amefa's expertise has resulted in export sales to more than 50 countries from Iceland to New Zealand.
