Fallkniven’s First true hunting knife based on ancient knife-making art in the Northern part of Scandinavia. Due to this heritage, it lacks a standard finger guard. 
The blade is made very hard laminated VG10 steel (59HRC). The Zytel sheath can be easily cleaned.

Uitstekend jacht- en outdoor mes. Vollere greep dan die van de F1. Geen 'finger guard', deze ontbreekt vaak op traditionele Scandinavische jachtmessen waarmee vooral trekkende en snijdende bewegingen worden gemaakt. 
De zytel schede voldoet, maar ik ben er niet enthousiast over, al past deze beter dan het zytel rammelexemplaar van mijn F1.
Ik ben er erg blij mee en kan de H1 van harte aanbevelen. 

Perfect bushcraft mes!

Na 2 jaar gebruik als mijn Nr1. bushcraft mes in ondermeer Zweden, Canada en Groenland kan ik zeggen dat ik zeer onder de indruk ben van de Fallkniven H1. Het mes licht echt zeer goed in de hand in meerdere grepen, en licht zeker beter in de hand dan de F1 (welke ik zelf ook heb). 

Ik ondervind van het dikke 5mm lemmet geen nadelen, eerder voordelen. Zo is de H1 met deze dikte echt perfect voor het splijten van o.a. haardhout voor het kampvuur! 
Ook het maken van bijv. feather-sticks en andere kleine klusjes rond het kamp zijn geen probleem.. De mooie haakse rug van het lemmet werkt heel goed met afstrijken van een Firesteel.

Het niet hebben van de finger-guard op de H1 vind ik juist een voordeel, het zit dan ook niet in de weg als ik het mes dichterbij het lemmet handteer voor diverse kleine snij klusjes. 

De Zytel schede is saai en simpel, doet wat het moet doen en er kan dus ook weinig aan stuk!

Als mensen nu gewoon een keer voorbij de populaire F1 durven kijken en de H1 eens zouden proberen weet ik zeker dat ze aangenaam verast worden door dit hele mooie allround mes!

Kortom, het mes is voor mij elke euro waard.

Het mes ligt lekker in de hand. Het handvat is iets dikker dan de meeste messen. Het mes werd vlijmscherp afgeleverd.
En zoals altijd, vandaag op tijd bestellen, morgen in huis.
Perfecte service waar menige andere winkel zich een voorbeeld aan mogen nemen.
