Een van de mooiste zakmessen uit de collectie. Een medewerker van KATO heeft mij goed geholpen de juiste kleur apart te houden. Mooi doorzichtig handvat en het vijlwerk zit overal. Zelfs aan de onder- en binnenkant van het handvat. Het mes is mooi scherp en de backlock is erg stevig. Het lemmet en de bolsters zijn ook mooi gepolijst.
Na een aantal van Fontenille Pataud in bezit te hebben zijn er toch minpunten in de afwerking en afleveren van het product. Het handvat van ramshoorn voelde scherp aan en bladdert zelfs een stukje af. Dit gedeelte hadden ze iets meer kunnen polijsten. Soms zitten er krassen en is het handvat van sommige modellen niet symmetrisch. Voor handgemaakte messen kunnen ze ook een simpel doosje regelen. Alles komt uit een vershoudzakje.
Desondanks zijn er gelukkig genoeg redenen om voor dit merk te gaan en de service door KATO is altijd goed.

Kwaliteit, gebruiksgemak, samenstelling, uitzicht, verpakking... alles pure klasse! Net zoals de service van Knivesandtools.  

Een qua techniek schitterend stuk vakwerk met een bijzonder mooie afwerking, en het mes ligt in mijn hand alsof het er een onderdeel van is. Prachtig!
