Fixed on plastic baseplate with non-skid rubber feet

This stone uses resin to bind the abrasives, in this case white aluminium oxide.
It does not soak up water and requires frequent wetting, but it can tailor the wear so the binder and abrasives wear at the same rate.
The stone doesn't produce much slurry, but cuts faster than other types.It also produces a finish finer than the grit size would indicate, as the binder is slightly flexible allowing for a finer scratch pattern.

These stone works best on harder types of steel
Splash with water before and during sharpening, do not soak or store in water.

    When we give you a guaranteed time to ship, and we do not ship your order by that time, you’ll receive 30% of the order amount as a rebate on future orders.

  • The guaranteed time to ship, is the time that is shown at the moment that you confirm your order. In some cases this time may me different than the time shown on our website earlier; for instance when we stock two items and you order three.

  • If you want to make use of our etching service, you should add one business day to the given time.

    Voornamelijk wordt deze steen gebruikt voor het polijsten van strait razor scheermessen (open scheermes).Ik vind de steen heel gauw vollopen,je moet hem vaak reinigen.Een paar halen over de steen laten gauw sporen achter die je regelmatig moet wegwassen.Ziet er zeer degelijk en verzorgt uit,een perfecte prijs kwaliteitverhouding.
    Voor het slijpen van open scheermessen raad ik meer de belgische corticule slijpsteen aan.

    Een zeer goede en grote wetsteen voor een vlijmscherp mes, je moet wel wat ervaring opdoen om goed te kunnen wetten.
