The Petzl ULTRA VARIO is a high quality head lamp, capable of great things! The lamp provides maximum light output of 520 lumens (605 ANSI lumens) and gets to about 70 metres. Because the battery pack is on the back of your head it does not mess with your balance, and the weight does not rest on your forehead. The lamp comes with extra clips to attach it to a helmet. It runs on a rechargeable battery pack and comes with an AC power adapter.
