Princeton Tec Apex, orange

The Princeton Tec Apex is one of the heavier headlamps in the Princeton Tec collection. The lamphead is itself can be well compared to the other headlamps of this brand, but the difference is that the batteries are stored in a separate compartment instead of inside the lamp. A massive advantage is that you can put extra batteries in there (4x AA-batteries) so the burn time is nice and long. The plastic battery holder is attached to the head band. Because of the soft touch rubber covering of the battery case, it will not shift and it feels comfortable. This lamp has rightfully been popular outdoorsmen and cavers for a long time.
