The Princeton Tec Pulsar is one of those lights that everyone should actually carry on their bunch of keys. It weighs seven grams and is only slightly larger than a coin. The white LED has a light output of 10 lumens. This is enough to find a keyhole or to find back something that you have dropped in the dark. Search for the switch is not an issue. You squeeze in the body of the Pulsar and it lights up. The burn time on a button cell is about 12 hours.  
  


The delivery of the Pulsar includes a battery and keychain ring. Of course you can use this to attach the Pulsar to your bunch of keys, but it also works for a zipper, backpack or other places.

Je cherchais une lampe frontale d'un prix raisonnable à fixer sur mon casque de cycliste, comme sécurité supplémentaire (j'ai un feu avant). J'aimais bien la couleur vive de l'élastique. Il est d'ailleurs assez épais, donc suffisamment ferme et solide. Je note également que le boitier présente une bonne finition et semble solide.
Pour mon usage, les variations de luminosité sont un peu un gadget. Je regrette qu'il n'y ait pas de lampe clignotante, le clignotement ayant le grand avantage dans l'obscurité et la pluie d'attirer l'attention des conducteurs de véhicule.
L'usage de piles représente une autre faiblesse. Dans une chaîne de magasins de sport j'ai récemment acheté pour une croûte de pain un feu arrière à batterie rechargeable sur prise USB: simple et pratique.
Je suis néanmoins content de mon achat par rapport à ce que j'avais avant, càd rien.
