With its flat-ground VG10 stainless steel blade and full-tang construction, the Temperance 2 knife is incredibly sharp, like all Spyderco knives. The steel under the handle has been milled out to reduce the weight of the knife (skeletonised). In addition to this, the handle is ergonomically formed, making the knife lightweight and comfortable to handle even with prolonged use.

Ik bezit al meerdere messen van Spyderco dus wat betreft de kwaliteit van het product wist ik dat het een goede aanschaf zou worden. Hoewel hij toch wel aardig aan de prijs is vind ik de Temperance II het bedrag meer dan waard. Vergeleken met de Spyderco Temperance I heeft deze een full frame wat de stevigheid van het mes ten goede komt. Zeer goede slicer ook te gebruiken in de keuken hoewel hiervoor het handvat dan in de weg kan gaan zitten op een lage snijplank. 

Mijn enige punt van kritiek is de schede welke het mes "twee maal" zo breed maakt. Hij zit hier echter wel stevig in verankerd en dit komt de veiligheid weer ten goede.

Voor grof werk is de Spyderco Bushcraft een beter keuze. Voor snijden en villen is deze Temperance in het voordeel.
