The Surefire 9AN is considered the flagship model of the Commander series of advanced rechargeable flashlights
It incorporates two independent lamps in a single reflector to provide either a super-bright 140 lumens for 40 minutes, or, by rotating the bezel, 20 lumens of general illumination light for 2 hours.
The 9AN Commander is precision-machined from aerospace-grade aluminum, finished in super rugged military specification Type III hard anodizing, and features an optically coated and tempered Pyrex lens window.
The flashlight also features unique switching originally developed for law enforcement- twist for constant on, or depress the tailcap button for momentary illumination or emergency signaling.
This complete set 9AN415 comes with a 9AN Commander, two B90 Ni-Cad batteries, a SmartCharger that uses microprocessor technology to protect the battery and charger from the voltage spikes typical of automotive and marine electrical systems, and an AC transformer and DC auto adaptor.
The 9AN Commander is perfect for the law enforcement officer or civilian who needs a high output tactical/search light and a long-running general purpose light in one rechargeable package.
