The Work Sharp Stropping Belt Kit for Blade Grinding Attachment is a set of two strops and two different stropping compounds. The green compound is made from chromium oxide and the red compound is made from iron oxide. Use the green compound first and then the red compound for the best results! You use these stropping belts as the last step in the sharpening process. It takes a sharpened knife from sharp to ultra-sharp. The strop removes virtually no material, but smooths out minuscule irregularities. This makes the knife even sharper and gives it a mirror-shine finish! This set is only designed to fit the Work Sharp Ken Onion Blade Grinding Attachment.
