The Twin Cermax line represents the epitome of the craftsmanship of Zwilling J.A.Henckels.
To put it more simple, these knives are the best they make.
The metal used for the blades consist of a new type of powdered steel called Cermax, with a Rockwell hardness of 66 (!)
This is extremely hard for any knifesteel, and especially for a kitchenknife which is usually somewhere inbetween 54- 60 Rockwell.
This superhard steel is 'sandwiched' between 2 layers of softer, but much tougher steel to create what we think to be the perfect kitchenknife.
To top things off the handle is inlayed with polished black Micarta with a beautiful grain.

When you order one of these knives, or more, be especially careful because these are by far the sharpest knives right out-of-the-box we have ever seen.
They are able to cut freestanding hair on your arm with ease.

Maintenancetips:

Do not ever try to clean these fine knives, or any other fine knife, in a dishwasher, as it will ruin their appearance and make them blunt as well.

For sharpening we recommend the Spyderco Sharpmaker, elsewhere on our site.
It will help you maintain the supersharpness of these knives with ease, as with every Sharpmaker you get a DVD with clear instructions how to do it.

The shipping costs that we charge to you are depending on the weight of your order, the selected service, the destination and the order amount. In general, when you order more products, the shipping costs will be lower.

Time of shipping
In the table below you find information regarding the availablilty and time of shipping of your order.
Products that we have in stock are shipped within 0 - 1 bussiness day, guaranteed. In other words, the day you place the order or the next bussiness day. On some other products we offer the same guarantee. Please read the text at the bottom of this page for more information!

Fast delivery, fair prices
Whenever you buy anything on the Internet, you want to get it as cheap as possible and you want to receive it as soon as possible.
To keep prices low, many Internet shops do not keep stock, and you will not know when your order is shipped. We do keep many products in stock, but not all. The number of products in our assortment is much larger than in any regular shop, and therefore we cannot keep all items in stock.
We do however guarantee fast shipping, on many products, and advice you on expected shipping times on other products.

Guaranteed and expected shipping time of your order
With every product on our website, we either list the guaranteed time to ship or the expected time to ship, which depends on our own stock position and the delivery time of our supplier.
We cannot guarantee the time it takes for your order to arrive after we shipped it. We give an indication for all shipping services, but we do not guarantee these transit times.

Our time to ship guarantee
When we give you a guaranteed time to ship, and we do not ship your order by that time, you’ll receive 30% of the order amount as a rebate on future orders.

Terms and conditions

The guarantee only applies to orders that are placed using our website.

The guaranteed time to ship, is the time that is shown at the moment that you confirm your order. In some cases this time may me different than the time shown on our website earlier; for instance when we stock two items and you order three.

If there are any open issues regarding your order, the given time to ship will start at the time all issues are solved.

If you want to make use of our etching service, you should add one business day to the given time.

The rebate that we give when your order does not ship within the guaranteed time can only be used for future orders.

When you return one or more items or cancel your order, the rebate on future orders that is eventually given, will be voided. If it has already been used, we will deduct it from the refund.

If we do not ship in time, you must claim the rebate within 30 days.
