This is the next generation of the original Yukon. The xenon bulb in the original Yukon has been replaced with a side emitting Luxeon Star bulb.
The side emitter portion of the Luxeon Star allows the high intensity LED to take advantage of the reflector and be focusable.
The Luxeon Star, will never "blow" and will take a very long time to wear out. Not only that, but the Luxeon Star LED has almost twice the throw of the incandescent bulb in the original Yukon.Princeton Tec has taken a solid design and added even more reliability . This hybrid is all LED so there are no bulbs to blow. Low output LEDs are used when less light is needed or when battery life is at a premium and a high output Luxeon Star LED is used when greater output is needed.The body of the Yukon includes a 3 point fully adjustable elastic suspension system, a plastic battery box and a plastic bezel assembly which contains the bulbs and switching mechanism. The bezel assembly is attached to the battery box via a cable that runs around the user's right side and is attached to the headband at 2 points via clips. The cable connections are reinforced at the battery box and the bezel. The entire assembly is waterproof via an O-ring in the bezel and a gasket in the battery box. The straps are designed to be removed through slots at all of the connection points for the purpose of cleaning or replacement.The bezel has a rubber cover with raised sections for protection and grip. The Luxeon Star bulb is focusable by twisting the front of the bezel. The switch is rubber covered and is found near the rear of the bezel. Pressing once turns the LEDs on, next press is off, next press turns the Luxeon Star bulb on, next press is off.

Whenever you buy anything on the Internet, you want to get it as cheap as possible and you want to receive it as soon as possible.

With every product on our website, we either list the guaranteed time to ship or the expected time to ship, which depends on our own stock position and the delivery time of our supplier.
We cannot guarantee the time it takes for your order to arrive after we shipped it. We give an indication for all shipping services, but we do not guarantee these transit times.

Our time to ship guarantee
When we give you a guaranteed time to ship, and we do not ship your order by that time, you’ll receive 30% of the order amount as a rebate on future orders.

Terms and conditions

The guarantee only applies to orders that are placed using our website.

The guaranteed time to ship, is the time that is shown at the moment that you confirm your order. In some cases this time may me different than the time shown on our website earlier; for instance when we stock two items and you order three.

If there are any open issues regarding your order, the given time to ship will start at the time all issues are solved.

If you want to make use of our etching service, you should add one business day to the given time.

The rebate that we give when your order does not ship within the guaranteed time can only be used for future orders.

When you return one or more items or cancel your order, the rebate on future orders that is eventually given, will be voided. If it has already been used, we will deduct it from the refund.

If we do not ship in time, you must claim the rebate within 30 days.

De Yukon HL is voor mij inmiddels een onmisbaar attribuut; perfect concept, prima draagcomfort, ondeugdelijke constructie van de sluting van het batterijdeksel, het asje waar de sluitclip op draait breekt absoluut af na enig gebruik; het zou van metaal moeten zijn evenals het scharnier van het deksel.
