The **Benchmade 273-03 Mini Adamas Marbled Carbon Fiber** is a very sturdy pocket knife. Compared to the original Adamas it might be Mini, but with an 8.3 cm blade it is not a small pocket knife. It is as strong as its predecessor. Perhaps even stronger still! Shane Sibert designed the Adamas collection for soldiers and other professionals. A solidity is key. The construction of the handle, the blade and the lock are therefore great. 

## CPM MagnaCut steel

For this Mini Adamas the blade is made from CPM MagnaCut. One of the most talked-about steels in 2021 and 2022. Many feel this type of steel is 'perfect'. Quite the statement. But they are right. It is a stainless type of tool steel. With a comparable toughness and sharpness retention of carbon steels such as CPM-CruWear, CPM-4V and Vanadis 4. The corrosion resistance is also sublime. Better than the popular stainless types of steel such as CPM S110V, CPM S45VN and Böhler M390. If that is not perfection, we don't know what is!

## Marbled Carbon Fiber handle

The handle is made from marbled Carbon Fibre. This is a light-weight material in which the carbon fibres are not straight, but chaotically intertwined. The reflection of light needs to be mentioned as well. It looks amazing! Of course, carbon fibre is a light-weight material, but it is still sturdy and suitable for all weather types.

As befits Benchmade, the Benchmade Mini Adamas is enhanced with an Axis lock. This strong lock is perfect for both left and right-handed use. As such this knife is a real friend to all. You open this knife with the thumb stud. The phosphor bronze washers make sure it moves smoothly.

The Benchmade Mini Adamas feels great in hand. It feels great in hand and you can feel that this is a strong knife. Very reliable.
