**Naniwa Specialty Stones**
The Naniwa Specialty Stone-series is the improved version of the well-known Super Stones-series. Naniwa has renewed the binding agent of the water stones. It is unique that 
Naniwa itself takes care of the production of the binding agent. Optimal matching to the grit size is important. The result of this is that the sharpening properties of Naniwa water 
stones are significantly better than sharpening stones of other brands even though the grit size is comparable. The Specialty Stones are hard sharpening stones so it is not very likely 
that your knife will 'bite' into the stone. Also the wear of the stone is minimal; they have a very long lifespan. However, it is advisable to regularly clean the sharpening stone with a 
'dressing stone'.
  
  

The Specialty Stones are synthetic resin-bound. The absorption of water is minimal so you only have to wet them and you can immediately start the sharpening process. They do not have to 
be submerged. The water stones will wear very slowly during the sharpening process. The advantage of this is that the stone cleans itself, as it were. Despite the 'wear' a Specialty Stone 
will have a very long lifespan.

Levering was zoals vorige keer super snel en goed ingepakt. De slijpstenen zelf krijgen mijn messen scheermesscherp zonder stroppen, en dat met een mooie polijsting van de snede. Ik met wel dat ze wat moeten weken in water omdat ze ander snel dichtslibben met staal. Daarna voelen ze ook wat rubberachtig aan. Vooral voor mijn yanagiba moet ik ze best vaak uitvlakken. Voor het geld zijn het wel prima Naniwa stenen. Zou ze opnieuw kopen. 

Das Schärfen funktioniert sehr gut, nur ist der 1000er Stein für sehr stumpfe Messer zu fein. Das heißt, dass ich noch einen 400er zusätzlich bestellen musste. Ansonsten eine gute Zusammenstellung für alle, die über Gebrauchsschärfe hinauswollen.

Na wat oefenen doen de stenen waar voor ze gemaakt zijn nl .slijpen. Je slijpt je messen met deze stenen weer scheermesscherp. Prima koop
