About Goldhamster

Goldhamster knives, manufactured by Eberhard Schaaf. These quality kitchen knives are manufactured in Solingen (Germany) by Eberhard Schaaf, a small knife factory that makes excellent knives in the Solingen tradition.
Goldhamster knives are drop forged from stainless Molybdenum steel (X50 Cr MoV 15 steel for the experts) and are ice-hardened to about 58 degrees Rockwell C.
Ice hardening improves the steel structure and makes it more resistant to rust stains.
