The Four Star range comprises the Zwilling J.A. Henckels set of modern chef’s knives. Combining outstanding quality with exceptional styling, this is a comprehensive range of knives fulfilling the highest demands of the professional and amateur chef.
Individual features include: 1. Sintermetal Component Technology (SCT)
Four Star knives are predominantly made with the aid of Sinter-metal Component
Technology, an innovative, patented process mastered only by Zwilling J.A. Henckels. 2. Precision honing
Laser monitoring ensures that each knife is honed to the optimum cutting angle.
Honing is constant and even from the tip to the bolster. Thus, the knives are
sharper and retain their cutting edge longer than usual. 3. Special FRIODUR®, ice-hardened steel
High-grade stainless steel receives further quality refinement by a special
ice-hardening process. Ground blades made of steel hardened in this way are
particularly durable and corrosion resistant. 4. Metal bolster
The metal bolster is shaped as a finger guard and ensures balanced weight
distribution. Use of the knife is safe as well as pain- and strainless. 5. Ergonomic handles
Polypropylene handles are designed ergonomically and balance perfectly in the
hand. The rounded, contoured shape eliminates pres-sure points and permits comfortable use. 6. Integrated assembly
The handle is fastened to the blade without rivets and devoid of any gaps. Thus,
Four Star knives are protected against contamination and bacteria. They comply
with all current hygiene regulations. 7. Polypropylene - a high-grade plastic compound
Four Star knives have handles made of polypropylene, a modern plastic compound
with a number of beneficial properties. Apart from being unbreakable, it is impact
and acid resistant, unfading, can be sterilized and is dishwasher-proof.
