Returns and Refunds
15 -Day Money-Back Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction with all KNIVES AND TOOLS merchandise. You may return any unused item, within 15 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price (minus shipping). Please enclose a note and copy of your invoice so we can credit your account. We will always credit you the same we you paid us (ie credit card or wire transfer). You are still responsible for the freight charges both to you and back to Knives And Tools Online.
Damaged or defective items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, we will promptly send you a replacement or issue you a full refund after you have returned the damaged or defective product. You will not be charged any additional shipping or handling fees for replacement shipments.
Guarantee
We honour our manufacturers guarantee and replacement policies. In many cases this is a limited lifetime guarantee. For products that are bought with us, we will pay for shipping to us and back to you.

Notes on guarantee on kitchen knives
Kitchen knives are generally guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship. The following problems are not covered by this guarantee:
Small rust stains
Good kitchen knives are made from steel that is hardened to 56 - 58 degrees Rockwell C. Normal stainless steel - that is used for cheap knives - is much softer. Especially when they are washed in a dishwasher, small rust stains can occur on kitchen knives. These stains can be easily removed using a cleaning product like CIF.
Wear
A knife that keeps it's sharpness for a life time doesn't exist. All professional kitchen knives need resharpening from time to time. You can read more about this in our tip's section.
Problems with wooden handles
Wood is a product of nature and should be treated with care. Never put knives with wooden handles in the dishwasher. Wash them by hand and dry them immediately. If you follow these instructions there will generally be no problems with wooden handles.

Right now our return rate for defects is one half of one percent! This is remarkably lower than the industry standard. While we are growing in popularity, and producing ever larger quantities of knives, we are determined to never forget that we live or die by a single word, QUALITY.
Our fixed blade sheath knives have a 5 year warranty to the original owner against defects IN materials or workmanship. Our folding knives are likewise warranted for 1 year. If you ever have a warranty problem with one of our knives, please return it with your original receipt and a short note and we will be happy to evaluate the problem and resolve it.
(NOTE: Do not send your knife back by way of the U.S. Post Office. We recommend you send it U.P.S. insured.)
Please remember ANY knife can be broken or damaged if subjected to sufficient abuse and that ALL knives eventually wear out (just like your boots) and must be replaced.

Gerber Warranty
All products of Gerber Legendary Blades are warranted to the original consumer purchaser for as long as he or she lives against, effects in materials, manufacture or assembly. Battery not warranted (for products that require batteries). Damage to abuse, misuse or neglect is not covered. Defective products will be repaired or replaced.
Discontinued items that are not repairable will be replaced for items of equal value. In order to get service under this warranty, send the product to your local Authorized Gerber dealer or retailer, with an explanation of the defect or problem. It is recommended that you insure the defective products to be returned.
Gerber or it Authorized dealer or retailers will not be responsible for any damage or loss or use of defective products or for other consequential or incidental damages. Some countries and states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of consequential or incidental damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which can vary from country to country or state to state.

25-YEAR Guarantee (Limited Warranty)
If within 25 years from date of purchase you find any defect in material or workmanship with your Leatherman product, return it to Leatherman Tool Group, Inc. or a local Authorized Repair Center for repair. At our option, we may replace the product.
This warranty does not cover abuse, alteration, unauthorized or unreasonable use of the Leatherman product. This warranty does not cover sheaths, bits, accessories or colored finishes.
To obtain service, return your tool to our address shown here (link to Warranty services page) or contact us for the location of the closest authorized repair center. When you send your tool, be sure it is insured. We cannot be responsible for items that do not reach us.
Leatherman Tool Group, Inc. is not liable for incidental or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty also gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.
