Forge de Laguiole
Just like Sabatier, Laguiole is not a brand name. Instead it is a small town in France where they started making these kind of knives.
When the knives from Laguiole became popular many factories in other towns and even in other countries like Pakistan started making their own 'Laguiole' imitations. The knives from 'Forge de Laguiole' are still made in Laguiole. Each knife is handmade by one single person from start to finish.

Guaranteed and expected shipping time of your order
With every product on our website, we either list the guaranteed time to ship or the expected time to ship, which depends on our own stock position and the delivery time of our supplier.
We cannot guarantee the time it takes for your order to arrive after we shipped it. We give an indication for all shipping services, but we do not guarantee these transit times.

Our time to ship guarantee
When we give you a guaranteed time to ship, and we do not ship your order by that time, you’ll receive 30% of the order amount as a rebate on future orders.

Terms and conditions
  • The guarantee only applies to orders that are placed using our website.
  • The guaranteed time to ship, is the time that is shown at the moment that you confirm your order. In some cases this time may me different than the time shown on our website earlier; for instance when we stock two items and you order three.
  • If there are any open issues regarding your order, the given time to ship will start at the time all issues are solved.
  • If you want to make use of our etching service, you should add one business day to the given time.
  • The rebate that we give when your order does not ship within the guaranteed time can only be used for future orders.
  • When you return one or more items or cancel your order, the rebate on future orders that is eventually given, will be voided. If it has already been used, we will deduct it from the refund.
  • If we do not ship in time, you must claim the rebate within 30 days.
