A pollywog represents metamorphosis in the animal kingdom, adapting and changing its form to survive in its environment.
The same principle applies here.
The Spyderco Poliwog CLIPIT thrives in a small-knife-friendly environment while keeping the features necessary to excel in a harsh, heavy cutting and performance setting.
Its distinctive opened-ended Ball Bearing Lock™ exposes the knife’s inner workings for easy cleaning and rates as one of Spyderco’s highest strength locking mechanisms.
Pulling back on the ball unlocks the blade ambidextrously from either side of the knife.
The hand settles on the curved handle positioning the index finger into a choil that optimizes control and generates less fatigue and pressure on the hand during cutting.
Made from VG-10, the blade has a hollow-ground edge with a weight reducing swedge-grind extending mid-spine to the tip.
Its ambidextrous wire-tension pocket clip sets the Poliwog tip-up in the pocket.

With every product on our website, we either list the guaranteed time to ship or the expected time to ship, which depends on our own stock position and the delivery time of our supplier.
We cannot guarantee the time it takes for your order to arrive after we shipped it. We give an indication for all shipping services, but we do not guarantee these transit times.

Our time to ship guarantee
When we give you a guaranteed time to ship, and we do not ship your order by that time, you’ll receive 30% of the order amount as a rebate on future orders.

Terms and conditions
  • The guarantee only applies to orders that are placed using our website.
  • The guaranteed time to ship, is the time that is shown at the moment that you confirm your order. In some cases this time may me different than the time shown on our website earlier; for instance when we stock two items and you order three.
  • If there are any open issues regarding your order, the given time to ship will start at the time all issues are solved.
  • If you want to make use of our etching service, you should add one business day to the given time.
  • The rebate that we give when your order does not ship within the guaranteed time can only be used for future orders.
  • When you return one or more items or cancel your order, the rebate on future orders that is eventually given, will be voided. If it has already been used, we will deduct it from the refund.
  • If we do not ship in time, you must claim the rebate within 30 days.

    Zeer aantrekkelijk mes wat betreft styling, dat ook qua gebruik niet onderdoet voor anderen. Handzaam formaat voor in de broekzak, maar uitgeklapt groot genoeg. Zelfs voor personen met grotere handen zoals ik.

    Het mes is voldoende scherp en zeer geschikt voor het openmaken van pakjes, brieven, shrinkwraps, etc. Uiteraard minder geschikt voor - bijvoorbeeld - het kapotsnijden van karton voor recycling.

    Voor dagelijks gebruik een mooi, bruikbaar mes dat niet dreigend overkomt. Een echte 'gadget' met tanden :D
