Although the photo hardly shows the beam at a distance of 20 meters, this lamp is still usable at this distance. It is abvisious that this lamp is better suitable for short distance use; it is only included here as a reference for other models.

Surefire L1 LED flashlight
For long this 1 Watt LED flashlight was the brightes LED light available. The beam is very wide, and is still usable at this distance. It provides about 10 times the amount of light as many key ring LED lights.

Surefire L4 LED flashlight
A 5 Watt LED flashlight that provides 60 Lumens of white light. Unbelievable! The beam is much wider than for instance a E2E that also provides 60 lumes, therefore the light doesn't look as bright but that doesn't make the L4 less usable. In fact, the brigness is about the same as that of the L1 but the total amount of light is 5 times more.

Surefire a2 Aviator.
The Aviator provides 50 lumens of bright white lights for 1 hour on 2 123A Lithium batteries. That is 10 lumens less than the E2E, but since the beam is more narrow it carries further.
For short distance use the Aviator is equiped with 3 bright LEDs, available in whithe, blue, green and red. The Aviator runs for more than 15 hours when LED light is used.

The E2 and E2E models provide 60 lumens of bright white light for 1 hour on 2 123A Lithium batteries. These models can also be equiped with the MN03 lamp assembly that is used in the E2O for extended run time.

The rechargeable Stinger has an adjustable beam. When adjusted as narrow as possible it provides a bright beam that carries very far.

Streamlight Stinger XT HP wide beam.
When the Stinger is adjusted to provide a wide beam there is still a brighter spot in the center. When adjusted to provide a narrow beam it looks like the Stinger provides a lot of light. When adjusted to provide a wider beam there isn't much left of the bright beam.
