I have owned and used PB207 pocket lighters for about 20 years. In that time only three have eventually failed (each after years of service). They are the most reliable lighter I have ever known. I use them for general heat applications such as camp fire lighting, rope-end sealing and whittling/tool-making. They should not be confused with cheaper, similar looking lighters, as the quality of build, reliability and performance is far higher. They have adjustable flame and lock-on features, which are very good. To extend their life only use quality filtered lighter gas, clean the filer port before re-filling with gas, and to prevent pocket lint & fluff from blocking the air intakes, always keep in a pouch, not loose in your pocket. Never clean with solvents such as methelated spirits, as this will compromise the plastic gas cylinder body. The fully clear version is the best in my opinion, which I recommend to KnivesandTools.co.uk for their stock, though also the bright coloured versions are a wise choice for preventing loss in leaf-litter or in the dark.

This is the third one of this PB207 model i have owned. Even though you can get many cheaper alternatives, I always prefer this one. My other ones lasted over ten years each using average quality butane from the newsagent before getting reduced flow. I have ordered some top quality butane for refilling, so this one might last even longer. Reliable good strong thin flame. Perfect shape to hold while using, easy lighting action, lock flame on, flame size adjustable. Large fuel tank. Everything i want.
