The Mora Chisel knife is (obviously) a fixed knife with a point like a chisel. It’s a kind of chisel and knife hybrid. Convenient and versatile for carpenters and handymen. The rubber handle is ergonomically shaped and offers good grip.


Because the blade is made of carbon steel it is important to maintain the blade properly. Carbon steel is not stainless and should therefore be stored clean and dry.


The plastic sheath is pretty solid and holds the knife tightly. The blade clicks inside the sheath and the bottom of the holster has a hole to drain water if needed.


There is a belt clip included to carry the sheath on your belt or to secure it to another sheath. This makes it possible to stack multiple knives from this series on top of each other. Especially useful when you have a serrated knife and want to carry plain edge knife as well. Releasing the sheaths goes really easy by rotating the button that secures them.

Geweldig gereedschap. Door de schede heb je de beitel altijd direct bij de hand. Ook de meest grove mishandeling bij allerlei uiteenlopende klussen kan hij makkelijk aan.


Prima kwaliteit, maar als linkshandige is deze minder praktisch voor mij. De snijkant is echt wel voor rechtshandigen bedoeld. Wel erg scherp en robuust.

Since buying, this knife has been the go to knife in the workshop and outside.it feels good in your hand no matter which way you hold the handle.the blade edge is as sharp as I need it to be. It has two sharp points for puncturing. The chisel edge, again does what I want it to do. For the money, it is an excellent tool. If it retains an edge like the other Mora knives I have, it will be a while before I have to sharpen it.
