The **Eden Classic Damast chef's knife** is an absolute must-have for in your knife block. Anything is possible with this knife. Like the Santoku this European chef's knife is great for cutting vegetables, fish and fruit. But also finely chopping herbs, crushing pepper corns and peeling cloves of garlic is easy with this all-rounder.


## Eden Classic Damast series


The Eden Classic Damast series is comprised of all conceivable kitchen knives. The blades on these knives have a core of strong and stainless AUS-10 steel, with a hardness of 60 HRC. The edge is razor-sharp and can easily be sharpened. The core has been encased in multiple layers of graceful Damascus steel.  33 layers per side to be exact. As such, including the core, there are 67 layers in total. Because of this combination the kitchen knives are not only incredibly functional, they are also absolute eye-catchers in your kitchen.


The Damascus steel blade seamlessly merges with the stunning black design handle that is comprised of a composite of linen and synthetic resin. The handle and the blade have been connected with the help of three rivets.


## Not in the dishwasher


As applies to all top-quality kitchen knives, it is best if you do not put your Eden Classic Damast knives in the dishwasher. It is best if you immediately wash and dry them after use. As a result the unique look and feel and the quality of the knives is optimally preserved.

Ik ging ervan uit dat het lemmet van het mes uit Damascus staal was gemaakt.  Zoals op de site en verpakking vermeld wordt.  NIET, dus. 
 
Dat vind ik wel jammer, en zeker voor die prijs, die niet goedkoop is!
Verder is het wel een vlijmscherp mes, ik heb het nog maar enkele dagen gebruikt en kan er dus verder niet veel over zeggen.
Ik wil er binnen een jaar gerust nog eens een review over schrijven!
