An awesome knife for bushcraft and wilderness traveling. Totally weather proof with the highest quality tool grade steel in the centre for an ultra sharp edge. Due to the fact its a convex grind this makes it very good both for chopping and slicing and will stay sharp twice as long in the field than average flat ground alternatives. Its a heavy duty blade at 6mm thick and from the university studies conducted it is one of the strongest knives ever made. I personally take this knife to use for shelter building, limbing branches and cutting back foliage in combination with the smaller F1 which weighs next to nothing and is better for fine wood carving and more dexterous tasks.
