Hi people axe looks good and presented very well, the smooth handle is slippery and shite in wet weather, not razor sharp when unboxed, does not hold an edge for long i have regretted buying this piece of kit, more for decoration than usage gransfors bruks axe or Haltafors axe are far superior and i have these in my arsenal of tools, this is solely my views

I initially bought this as gift for a very good hunter friend of mine, he was delighted. Subsequently I have bought one for myself! This is a very asthetic tool fitting beautifully to the hand in a number positions depending on what use you put it to. So far this axe has proved to be adept at chopping kindling (unsurprisingly for an axe) however the size and handle make it excellent for butchery, this and a decent knife have proved perfectly suitable. My only disappointment is that when i ordered the second axe it did not come with the Dimond file as promised, I’m sure this is an oversight and certainly not an issue for the time being as the axe has kept its edge but something I will follow up with K&T.

Arrived promptly and well packaged, nice presentation box. A delight to handle and use, feels strong with great weight to size ratio, don't be afraid to really use it...even tho it's a work of beauty, it is an axe! I will happily purchase another, and ideal as a gift to any bushcrafter!
