The **Naniwa Diamond Pro DR-7510 sharpening stone** has a grit size of 1000. It consists of an aluminium plate with a diamond grinding layer on top.


Diamond sharpening stones are ideally suited for sharpening hard steels. You can even sharpen ceramic knives with these sharpening stones. These sharpening stones can be used with or without water. The advantage of adding water is that the sharpening residue is immediately washed away. Another incidental benefit of diamond is that it does not need to be sharpened in between uses. In principle, diamond sharpening stones always remain flat.


However, it's important to note that your diamond sharpening stones need to be pre-sharpened before the first use, because in the beginning they sharpen slightly coarser. After about five to ten sharpening sessions, they will reach their ideal functioning.

* 120 to 600: suitable for pre-sharpening blunt knives

* 800 to 1000: suitable for sharpening and maintaining knives that are in good condition

* 2000 to 3000: suitable for a result sharper than factory-ready

* 5000 to 10000: suitable for sharpening (polishing) knives until razor-sharp

Pierre parfaite pour aiguiser vos couteaux à l'acier très dur. 
Cela peut sembler cher, mais le fait que ces pierres soit inusables justifient un prix plus élevé.
De plus, pour un grain 1000, les marques sont vraiment fines si on regarde le fil de la lame avec une loupe.
Vraiment satisfait de mon achat.

Pierre diamant de très bonne qualité permettant un tranchant rasoir (mieux qu'une DMT verte 1200), excellente sur les "super" aciers (M390, MagnatCut, CPM 3V, etc) mais se charge un peu vite sur des aciers moins durs (440C, 12C27, 14C28N).

Ongelooflijk goede steen! Werkt zeer snel en is groot genoeg om een groot met te scherpen en geen probleem voor kleine.
Een beetje water op en direct beginnen. Een echte aanrader.

Hele goede resultaten. Ik overweeg ook de 3000 aan te schaffen.
