The **Ruike Jager F118** is a solid fixed knife, designed for hunting purposes. Striking are the excellent ergonomics and the wonderful price-quality ratio. Although the name immediately reminds you of hunting, you can also use this knife for survival purposes and other tasks. The blade has a large ‘belly’. No, not obesity, but a beautiful rounded part added to the blade. Ideal for gutting game. The back of the blade has been enhanced with a stunning *swedge* which helps saves weight and makes the knife look even better.


The blade is made from 14C28N steel. A stainless Swedish type of steel which perfectly maintains its sharpness. In addition, it is easy to sharpen this knife yourself. Another clever aspect of this knife is the stonewashed finish which makes small scratches practically impossible to see, which is great when you use the Jager on a daily basis.


The handle was made from G10. A light-weight composite material made from fibreglass and synthetic resin. The large finger groove at the front of the handle ensures you will have enough grip. In terms of size we believe this knife is perfect for anyone who has small to medium-sized hands. When you have large hands the handle could feel a little too small.


You can keep your Ruike Jager F118 close with the plastic pouch which has a wonderfully thin and compact design. Additionally useful is the sturdy belt clip: with a 360 degree rotation angle which will follow you wherever you go. With a torx 8 bit you can easily turn this right-handed knife into a left-handed one.

La calidad de los materiales y de la construcción de este cuchillo es manifiesta nada más cogerlo. Una pieza práctica y ligera, con buen filo, para el día a día. La empuñadura ciertamente no es apta para manos grandes, que no es mi caso. En cuanto a la funda aunque práctica se nota que no es de gran calidad.

Ho aspettato qualche mese per scrivere la recensione per poterlo testare a dovere e devo dire di essere rimasto pienamente soddisfatto.
Il dorso della lama è completamente arrotondato quindi scordatevi di usarlo per accedere il fuoco,ma non lo ritengo un limite visto che usare un accendino è 1000 volte più pratico.
Unico difetto il fodero che dopo un po' di utilizzo non tiene più come dovrebbe.

Excellent rapport qualité prix. C'est mon 1er Ruike et probablement pas le dernier.
Pour une utilisation en camping et randonnées il se trouve à un juste milieu entre cuisiner et faire office d'outil pour le bois (léger) et bricoler avec une prise en main très ergonomique, et rassurante avec une bonne adhérence (G10 qui agrippe franchement bien, peut être a cause des motifs et de sa forme générale).
L'étui pour un port discret c'est pas mal de pouvoir faire pivoter le clip (et oui même en bordure de forêt porter un couteau ça peut faire peur à des gens sensible).
C'est pas un "super acier" mais il ne bouge pas après une sortie d'un week-end, et au moins il ne craindra pas de prendre une rayure ou un poc comme sur une lame a 250€.
