The **TOPS B.O.B. Fieldcraft** is a fixed knife, designed for bushcraft enthusiasts by the Brothers of Bushcraft. This is a coalition of bushcrafters in North America. Their mission is to share knowledge of bushcraft and nature. This Fieldcraft knife is the result of a collaboration that combines all experiences of survival in numerous circumstances into one ultimate bushcraft knife.




The blade is made from 154CM steel. This is a stainless steel that originates from the aviation industry. The flat parts have a coarse stonewashed finish. The grind has a satin finish. The Scandi grind is easy to sharpen and has a slightly convex shape towards the edge.




The G10 handle has cut-outs on both sides for a bow drill. The tang of the blade sticks out at the back of the handle to make sure you don't put too much strain on the micarta handle while batoning. On the pommel you'll also find a cut-out to safely use a firesteel.




The knife comes with a solid kydex sheath. You can easily attach this to your belt with the sturdy steel belt clip. On the side of the sheath you'll find a firesteel, which turns this knife into a complete tool for any outdoor adventure.

Dit mes is een geweldig mes voor zowel bushcraft als grovere survival taken. Het dikke lemmet zorgt ervoor dat dit mes tegen heel wat hard gebruik kan. De snede is echter zo dat het ook wat fijner werk prima aankan. De staalsoort is misschien niet het beste wat er op dit moment te verkrijgen is maar de hitte behandeling van Tops zorgt ervoor dat dit mes gelijkwaardig is aan andere premium survival messen met ‘premium’ staalsoorten. Een echte aanrader voor bushcrafters die niet zachtaardig met hun messen om willen gaan.

Knife arrived on time, but not hair shaving sharp as many of other customer claimed so I assume, either you don’t know what hair shaving sharp means or I’m the unlucky one. 
There were scratches on the blade, and one of the hex screws on the scale is damaged (seems like previous customer tried opening it), one of the red liners is thinner than the other one ( quite weird ).  
Of course customer service arranged for me to send the knife back after I spoke to them, but I decided to keep the knife as I had no time to waste and frankly, it wouldn’t have come to this, had you checked the knife before shipping it to me,
About the knife, it’s sturdy, the 154cm did not impress me as I already had to re-sharpen it twice within 2 weeks of use. Fire steel striker at the back end is totally useless so is the spine. Surely I’ll be doing some alterations.

Prachtig afgewerkt zeer solide full tang mes. Ligt heel fijn in de hand. Mooi dik 154cm staal. Persoonlijk ben ik een groot fan van 154cm. Behoud zeer goed zijn scherpte en is goed te slijpen. Absolute aanrader, echt een mes om op te vertrouwen. Tops is top en dit mes is geen uitzondering!
