Stylish and pleasant-feeling, wind-resistant gas lighter.


The XIKAR Stratosphere II is a very reliable lighter. The rubber coating protects both the lighter and the objects that can come into contact with it, for example in your pocket. You open the protective cap by lightly pressing on the switch at the front of the lighter, a spring will then provide opening. Igniting the flame is done with a piezoelectric igniter. The turbo burner will work under almost all circumstances. Both wind and thin air at high altitudes are no problem.  
  


When the lighter is turned on, some light will shine through the openings in the bottom. It's not much, but in case of emergency the Stratoshpere can also work as an emergency torch! The window at the bottom of the ligther allows you to check the gas level.

Toelichting is eigenlijk overbodig. Xikar is een topmerk op het gebied van sigaar-benodigdheden (knippers aanstekers etc.) en niet voor niets. De Stratosphere II is heel goed, en niet overdreven duur.

Fantastic lighter does what it says on the tin. Robust, lights well in windy conditions havent tried it at high altitude as yet. This new design V2 feels better than the old V1. Will advise to use good refined fuel and purge the lighter fully before refills, this keeps the lighter burning like new.

Aansteker gaf weinig vlam. Bij instelling iets minder dan de maximum stand deed de aansteker het zelfs helemaal niet.
Vul-vloeistof is dezelfde als bij mijn voorgaande (storm-) aanstekers.
Stelwiel afgeschroefd, gasdosering afgesteld.
Aansteker werkt weer goed.
Bespaart weer hoop gedoe met retour zenden, enzo.


Verschlusskappe Feuerzeug zu leichtgängig, desweiteren muss man die Flammeneinstellung auf die höchste Stufe stellen damit das Feuerzeug funktioniert.
