The Spyderco Wakiita Gyuto knife from the Murray Carter Collection is the most versatile knife from this collection. Gyuto literally means 'cow leaf'. The gyuto is the Japanese equivalent of the Western chef's knife. Because of the versatile design you can use this knife to cut meat, fish and vegetables or use it to chop herbs.
This collection is comprised of five different knife styles: the Petty, Funayuki, Nakiri, Bunka Bocho and Gyuto. Made in Japan according to the demanding Spyderco norms. The tapered shape of the spine of the blade towards the tip is characteristic for this knife.
