Vise Jaw for Wicked Edge sharpening systems.

For the Generation 3 Pro sharpening system, Wicked Edge has created a very useful quick-clamp system. The knives are quickly clamped by moving the lever. The clamp centers itself by the ‘jaws’ that have a spring inside them. This guarantees symmetrical sharpening results. For people that sharpen a lot this is amazing progress.


The Wicked Edge Generation 3 Vise Jaw allows you to upgrade the Pro Pack 2 and the Field and Sport sharpening system with this innovative clamping system.

I used this to upgrade my Propack 2 to the WE130 system with the cam assisted vice rather than the simple clamp. The upgrade package worked a treat - faster setup and I can now sharpen full flat grinds. Expensive but recommended if you have an older model.

Le système triangulaire inclus dans les Pack Pro 1 et 2 ne permet pas d'immobiliser une lame avec une géométrie complexe dans une position parfaitement verticale !
La lame va pencher quelques degrés d'un côté ou de l'autre et il n'existe aucun moyen pour corriger cela.

Cette version 3 Vise Jaw n'est pas la dernière version disponible (la dernière version possède une structure fermée et permet de régler la tension du ressort).

Malgré ce fait, cet accessoire remplit parfaitement ses fonctions. Le verrouillage est simple et efficace et quelle que soit la forme de votre lame, elle ne penchera pas d'un côté ou l'autre. 




Dit is nog eens een update! Met een handeling in eenmaal je mes vast geklemd. Geen los blokje meer om de hoogte aan te passen zoals bij WE II. Snel gemonteerd en nu ook langere geleide stangen zodat je nu het hele slijpblok weer kunt gebruiken. Nog steeds uitkijken dat het mes (zonder rechte zijkanten) rechtop in de houder zit. Dit doe ik door een stukje zeemleer te gebruiken tussen de klemmen(bovenaan is het dan iets dikker). zodat er aan de  bovenkant van het mes meer druk komt te zitten.

Alleen de WE Low Angle adapter past hier door de omgezette rand niet meer in omdat de spanbekken breder zijn dan de WE I & II.
