The **Cold Steel Marauder 39LSWBA** is a large bowie knife. It got its name from the 'Merrill's Marauders' division. A special unit that served in the Second World War in the jungles of China, India and Birma. No other American unit spent so much time in the jungle as the Marauders under the command of Frank Merril.



The Cold Steel Marauder Bowie is a large fixed knife with a typical bowie-shaped blade. With a blade thickness of 4.8 mm it is quite a large knife. And yet the knife is relatively light-weight. It is the result of the royal hollow grind. As such it is also great to use. The pointed tip is perfect for the more detailed tasks.



The blade is made from tough AUS8A steel. This is a stainless type of steel from Japan that is easy to sharpen razor-sharp. The handle is made from Kray-Ex. A rubber-like plastic that feels great in hand and offers enough grip. For additional grip the handle is enhanced with a so-called 'sub-hilt'. An additional knife guard, just behind your index finger.



You can carry the Cold Steel Marauder Bowie in the solid Secure-Ex sheath.
