The **Gerber Paraframe I** is a real classic. The pocket knife is enhanced with an open frame and a clip point blade. Because of the open frame the Paraframe I is very light-weight and easy to clean if necessary. This is a real EDC knife.


The blade on the Gerber Paraframe I is made from *high carbon stainless steel*. With a clippoint-shaped blade. The blade is relatively short with a length of 7.5 cm. The stainless steel handle looks perfect in combination with the blade. The combination of the openings in the frame and the short blade ensure that the Paraframe is a light-weight pocket knife. A great feature that makes the Paraframe perfect as a EDC pocket knife.


You can open the knife with one hand with the thumb studs on the blade. When opened the knife locked by a framelock. With a little practice you can also close the knife with one hand, even though this might take some getting used to at first. The practical tip-down pocket clip enables you to easily attach the knife to your pocket or belt. As such you will always have it close.

Een mooi mes met een mooi open ontwerp. Daardoor is het zeer licht en draagt het prima in je broekzak. Mijn verwachting was niet heel hoog gezien de prijs en het materiaal van het mes. Maar dat is mij zeer mee gevallen. Het mes was niet zeer scherp maar met een paar 'halen'over een steen is het vlijmscherp. Na een paar druppels olie 'flipt' het mes makkelijk open.Het framelock voldoet maar had wel wat tijd nodig om goed sluitend te zijn. Dit is voor de prijs een prima mes zonder flauwekul. Het draagt lekker en doet wat het doen moet.

super petit couteau, beau, efficace, léger, très bon tranchant. lame assez large pour étaler le pâté et couper le saucisson. bon verrou de sureté. En rando, chasse, pêche, en permanence dans la voiture ou dans le sac à main de madame.    

A great little knife , wouldn't be without it . The clip on the back is a great idea why don't manufacturers fit one ? , this was one of the main reasons for choosing this n the Gerber reputation !! 

This is actually a good knife…. After some modifications. The clip makes it sit too high on the pocket so it pops off the pocket quite easily risking loosing it completely. I removed this clip. 
The blade came quite dull so after some work with my sharpening block it came up lovely. It’s now razor sharpe, can be open and closed with one hand and Is really cheap. A bargain in my opinion.
