V happy with this, bought for bushcraft along with mora companion and garberg. This bk9 is a great single-tool-does-everything solution if you want to take just one thing ie chop/cut/baton with enough heft for chopping. The bk9 is designed for bushcraft but the only minus for me is it still looks a bit pointy/military/threatening which can be counterproductive, and is not something you would routinely carry unless planning to use, but is a great tool.

This knife is excellent quality and is capable of most tasks, from more dextrous ones to chopping solid bits of wood. Multi purpose and easy to keep sharp, would highly recommend this knife. Delivery was extremely quick and have been using the knife daily since I recieved it.

The KA-BAR Becker BK9 Is my new go to survival knife it is a sure work of art even the thickness of the blade is double of my machetes i have i am amazed by the performance of it cut's through sticks better than my machetes! A master of robustness. Unbreakable. Excellent steel. Excellent chopper. Chops 2-inch diameter branches in a blink. Not very good piercer because of the very thick tip. IMHO an excellent heavy-duty forest knife more than a "combat" knife (but who really uses knife for combat?)

This is a fantastic bowie. If you are used to the standard 7-inch/18 cm combat knife, this one will feel much bigger at first. Worry not, for that impression goes away in a few days of use. This is a really good blade, full tang, heavy duty, versatile. Surprisingly usable for finer work too, as it handles great. The stock handle is fine for most day-to-day tasks, but slippery for combat duty. You will need to mod the handle for such kind of applications.

This knife now follows in my every step. It's hefty and big enough to lob limbs of trees and has enough control to carve a toothpick. My only problem was that it came with an asymmetrical grind on the cutting edge so it chipped after minor use. But this can be resolved by using a wet stone to re profile the edge after that it's near perfect for a big knife.
