Very good value on here and it compliments the luxury diamond set very well as the hones themselves in the diamond set don’t refine the edge to my satisfaction. It’s going to get plenty of use over time

The system itself is a good system and with a little practice you will perfect a razor sharp edge if you purchase the yellow and leather hones on top of this package, I’d easily give 5 stars but can’t as the quality is unforgivable, the knife clamp is the cheapest most nasty thing you will see, screw holes drilled off centre, not perfectly flat which effects the grip and sharp edges left un burred. I’ve seen products from China that cost pretty much nothing with better production than this. The case is the same, cheap mass produced junk. I ditched the case and hand stitched a custom leather pouch for the kit plus accessories. This cheap plastic case only comes with one space for an extra hone. Would be a perfect product if they had some quality control.

Had the normal Lansky set before the diamond one, and if you're wondering if it makes a difference in the time needed to sharpen a blade, it 110% does. It would take me on average about 1h to fully sharpen even a 1095 carbon steel blade, and probably double that for D2 and other much harder steels, with the normal set. But with the diamond sharpeners it takes me at most 30min to reprofile and get an insane edge on D2 steel, even when taking my time. For the performance of this set, even for €100+ it is well worth the money. Truly a one and done with this one.

I use it to sharpen my kitchen knives and to keep them sharp now I just rest any of my knives on tomatoes, cheese ,steak knives and other utensils and it cuts with no effort no more squished tomatoes or broken cheese I also now can carvejoints of meat thick or thin

I bought this set to replace a stone set from the same company, I found with use the stones became worn therefore altering the angle of the knife, if you carefully follow the instructions this set is far better, I use in on household knives but even more importantly on hunting knives. It is first class a neighbour also used it and bought his own set the next day. Well made and very well worth the difference in price to the stone set.

This is an almost foolproof system that is capable of producing a very sharp edge on a variety of different sized blades. I chose the diamond abrasive 'stones' over the cheaper ceramic ones for reasons of longevity and faster sharpening action; I have not been disappointed and thoroughly recommend this system. I would also recommend buying the stand which makes the sharpening process much more stable and comfortable.

Fantastic. The finest stone in the kit gives a superlative edge for a slicing cut. You need to be a little inventive when clamping small pocket knife blades with a pronounced taper to them. A small cardboard packer got used but clamped tight & resulting edge on my Kershaw Sapphire was faultless.
