This stone uses resin to bind the abrasives, in this case white aluminum oxide.  

It does not soak up water and therefore does not require frequent wetting. Super Stones wear slowly and maintain a constant sharpening effect.  

  
  


Splash with water before and during sharpening, do not soak or store in water.

ik heb deze slijpsteen gekocht voor mijn open scheermes, die beschadigd was.
eerst herstellen met de 800/5000 nakiwa steen en vervolgens scherp maken met deze 8000 steen, hij is weer zo goed als nieuw 
bedankt!!!!

einfach ein sehr guter stein mit denen man seine Messer wieder richtig scharf bekommt

Goede steen wel erg zacht dus het kleine slijpsteentje wat je er bij kan kopen om de steen te vlekken en slijpsel te maken is erg handig. Mijn fijnste steen was tot nu toe een korrel 3000. Met deze 8000 korrel wordt je mes dus echt scheermesscherp. Kortom moeie steen kost een paar centen maar is de moeite waard. Neemt trouwens bijna geen water op en kun je dus direct gebruiken. Erg handig als je net dat scherpe gevoel kwijt raakt.
