The **SENCUT Crowley S21012-2** is a tough and modern EDC knife. You open the blade with the flipper or the thumb studs. This mechanism runs really smoothly thanks to the ceramic ball bearings. Once opened, the blade will be locked in place with strong button lock. The button lock will bring you hours of fidgeting fun. You can carry this knife safely and discreetly thanks to the deep carry pocket clip. You can attach this to either side of the knife, so you can decide whether to carry the knife on your right side or your left.

## Blade made from 9Cr18MoV

The blade is made from 9Cr18MoV, which is quite a mouthful! It's a stainless steel from China that is roughly equivalent to 440B steel. All you need to know is that it has great sharpness retention and it's easy to sharpen. The blade has a stonewashed finish. Thanks to this, traces of use will hardly be visible.

## Micarta handle

The handle is made from micarta. This is a composite material made from linen and synthetic resin that provides plenty of grip. Micarta absorbs the oils from your hand, so each knife will become truly unique over time.

Estupenda navaja, muy bien construida y estupendo filo con muy buen corte!

For me, this is the better 'Sachse'. More belly and less dropping drop point make it a perfect slicing tool, even on a cutting board if necessary. The stonewashed finish will help hiding marks and sratches, and I find the handle/scale form a bit more comfortable in the hand. The micarta is a bit on the rough side, but that increases traction. It has a bit of lock stick, but that should get better over time. All in all I can totally recommend this knife, especially in this price range.

Na de Sencut Sachse ook deze Crowley aangeschaft, een zeer fijn Button lock budget mes, in tegenstelling wat Knifesandtools op de website schrijven is het lemmet D2 staal en niet het 9Cr18MoV staal wat de Sachse heeft. Heb dit ook bij hun vermeld maar daar hebben ze tot op heden niets aan gedaan. Button was een beetje 'Sticky", echter naar wat polishen van de lock werkt het perfect. Mes springt beter dan Sachse echter middelvinger flip is even wat steviger vanwege de hogere weerstand. Na een week is het heerlijk ingelopen. Mes ligt lekker in de hand en een echt fidget EDC mes. Aanrader dus. Knifesandtools geeft zoals we gewend zijn perfect service. Dit mes was een kado voor mijn neef en hij is er superblij mee.
