The Spyderco Yojimbo 2 is a characteristic pocket knife, designed by Michael Janich. He is a respected expert in the field of self-defense. The hollow grind blade with a typical Wharncliffe-shape is locked in open position by a solid compression-lock. A lock we have come to know through the popular Paramilitary 2. It almost works the same as a liner-lock, but you operate it from the back.



The handle is made of G10. The stainless steel liners on the inside are kept as compact as possible and are milled-out in the G10. The weight is very low. The pocket clip can be placed in 4 different ways. Easy to use for everyone!

Zeer tof mesje dat echt vlijmscherp is. Ik heb hem nogmaals op de strop gesmeten en is nu scary sharp.. wat een topmes.

Heb onlangs deze Yojimbo besteld na twijfelen tussen deze en de Spyderco Yojumbo en uiteindelijk toch zeer tevreden dat ik de 'kleine' heb besteld. Zeer licht, handig en bovendien scheermesscherp geleverd. Is op korte termijn uitgegroeid tot favoriete EDC. Fruit snijden, dozen snijden gaat als door de boter. Niet goedkoop, maar wel een fantastisch zakmesje voor dat geld. Ben al aan het uitkijken naar een Spyderco PM2 als volgende voor de collectie. Deze Yojimbo is een aanrader!

Great EDC blade, love the shape and feel in my hand, it is very well made, holds the edge great and is very comfortable in the pocket.  Would highly recommend, I have owned many different spyderco blades over the years and this is yet another great product ☺️

Das Meser - Spyderco Yojimbo 2:
Hat lange gedauert, bis ich mich zur Bestellung durchgerungen habe. Sehr spezialisiertes Messer (Stichwort Self Defense). Für seinen Zweck exzellentes Design. Ich empfehle bei Interesse, sofern nicht eh schon bekannt, Michael Janich zu Yojimbo und Wharncliffe auf Youtube nachzuschauen. Auch als EDC Box Slicer brauchbar. Stärke liegt aber ganz klar im Sinne von Herrn Janich. Darum nichts für die meisten, aber perfekt für Interessierte. 
Preis-Leistung seitens Spyderco: zu teuer. Aber das ist der generelle aktuelle Trend beim Spinnenmacher (Stichwort Shaman). Den Kauf-Preis um 160 Euro (Paramilitary 2 Niveau) halte ich für angemessen. Design-Details, Ergonomie für den gedachten Zweck, Compression Lock, gut gemachter Hohlschliff, Needle Spitze, Spyderco Hole plus stumpfes Trainermodell passend dazu verfügbar (aber sackrisch teuer). Das Paket passt. Clip ist üblicher Standard, aber bewusst so platziert und zweckdienlich.
Ich wusste, was ich kaufe. Bin 100% zufrieden. Wer es nicht weiß, bekommt zwar ein gutes Messer, aber hätte ggf. für seine Zwecke bessere Optionen im Spyderco-Lineup.
