Full description
The Buck 0757BK Camp Axe is a lightweight camping axe, ideal for hiking. Due to its light weight it can easily be attached to you backpack. The axe head is forged from 5160 carbon steel, popularly known as "spring steel". It is not stainless, but has a powder coating to protect it from corrosion. The stem is made of high impact plastic. A plastic that is specifically designed to withstand the impact of working with an axe. The axe head is an integral part of the handle which makes it quite sturdy.
