The Fenix E28R rechargeable EDC flashlight is a small but fine flashlight, that will always come in handy. Even though it is a very compact flashlight it has a great output of 1500 lumens and a maximum beam distance of 200 meters. It only weighs 66 grams. As such you can easily take it with you, no matter where you go. With the included clip you can easily hang it from your belt or bag. The battery indicator will tell you if you need to charge the light.
How to use the Fenix E28R
You use this flashlight by clicking the button on the side. By holding it down 0.5 seconds the light will turn on or off. Pressing the button once and you will switch to another mode. If you hold the button down for approx. 1.2 second you activate the stroboscope mode. Quickly double-click the button and you activate the travel lock, all to make sure you don't accidentally turn it on in your bag.
Charging the E28R
The light retrieves its power from the included 3400 MAh 18650 rechargeable Li-ion battery. You leave the battery inside; you charge the light via the USB-C port on the light itself. In only three hours the light will be fully charged.
Light modes on the Fenix E28R
- Turbo: 1500 lumens, burn time of approx. 2:05 hours*
- High: 800 lumens, burn time of approx. 2:30 hours
- Medium: 350 lumens, burn time of approx. 6 hours
- Low: 150 lumens, burn time of approx. 17:15 hours
- Eco: 30 lumens, burn time of approx. 73:35 hours
- Strobe: 1500 lumens
*The burn time of the highest mode is calculated at the moment the lamp is switched on in the highest position. After 2-3 minutes, the lamp automatically switches to the lower light mode due to temperature regulation.
Accessories for the Fenix E28R
This light comes with 18650 rechargeable Li-ion battery, USB-C cable, wrist strap, additional o-ring, manual and warranty.
If you use the turbo mode for a longer period of time the light will start to heat up. When the light reaches a temperature of 60 degrees Celsius or higher, the light will automatically drop the amount of lumen to lower the temperature.
