The Fenix HL16 is a light-weight head torch specifically designed for children. It offers neutral white light and red light. Special precautions were taken to guarantee that this light is safe for children. As such the battery compartment has been closed off with an Allen screw. You need to loosen this before you can switch the battery. In addition, the warm white light is better for your eyes.

With the switch on top of the light you can easily switch between the three white light modes, and the two red modes. For camping trips, hiking and running this head torch will be the perfect companion. The Fenix HL16 derives its strength from one AA battery.

Even though the Fenix HL16 was designed for children it also works well for adults. The headband isn’t any shorter than the headband you find on a head torch for adults. Especially for, for instance, running, it is great to own such a light-weight head torch.
