Het is een fraai mes,  een mooie sierlijke vorm, een hooggepolijst lemmet en fraaie messing eindstukken.
De houten staminawood handvaten zijn sluitend afgewerkt en het herderskruisje zit er uiteraard ook op.
De messing eindbolsters worden vrij snel dof door het vocht van je handen, maar met koperpoets is dit snel verdwenen. 
Tevens haalt koperpoets viezigheid van het hout.
Dit is nu het tweede mes van dit type, mijn ander is iets kleiner en is gemaakt van jenerverbeshout wat heerlijk ruikt.
Met deze messen is het denk ik zo dat je er liefhebber van bent of niet.
De vorm is afwijkend en anders dan gewone messen.
Voor gebruik aan tafel of brood of kaasplank zijn ze super.
Ik zou het echter niet gebruiken in het bos of derg., daarvoor kun je beter een iets robuuster mes kopen.
Voor mij zijn ze dan ook echt als een soort van der bij, maar wel erg trots op.
De messen zijn wel vrij duur, maar dat komt omdat het handwerk is.
De afwerking van de lemmets zijn redelijk, alhoewel dit mes een behoorlijke deuk in de snede had, wat ik met moeite zelf der uit geslepen heb.
Bij mijn andere mes liep de snede aan de rechterkant niet helemaal door tot het einde, wel 4mm te kort!.
Alhoewel KATO de messen zo aangeleverd krijgt is het denk ik wel zo  dat de controle op de afwerking iets hoger mag bij forge de laguiole, handwerk is natuurlijk altijd anders, maar slordig handwerk is gewoon beetje jammer.
Ik hoop in de toekomst er nog enkele te verzamelen, maar wil het mes voortaan eerst zelf bekijken, mede ook hoe de tekening van het hout is en de afwerking van het lemmet.




Erg mooi mes, goed afgewerkt ook. 
Nog mooier in het echt dan online.

Het openen en sluiten van het mes gaat behoorlijk stroef!
Verder naar verwachting en goed.

Gravering perfect. Lang, dwz 2 maanden op moeten wachten, maar voor de rest perfect, ook de communicatie met K&T

Mooi Laguiole mes van Force de Laguiole. Prachtig gepolijst, ook de bolsters. Het houtwerk van de greep sluit perfect aan. Het enige dat wat tegen valt is het feit dat het lijkt alsof de vlieg gelast is. Voor dat geld kan ik me dat ook wel voorstellen. Al met al een prachtig mes voor de verzameling.
