Hultafors hunting axe Classic, HB JY-0,85

Still have not received it, it is still in great britian.

Nice axe. This a reasonable short handled axe - not as short as a hatchet, can be used one or two handed, but not overly long either. The head is nicely weighted, and it does a good job on splitting wood. Nice and sharp out of the box. Very good quality, and I look forward to many years of good use. I also have to recommend the customer service from Knivesandtools.co.uk - this was actually a replacement axe for one I had ordered but which is now discontinued. I got an email asking if I wanted to get a refund or replacement - chose this as a replacement - and got a small refund of the difference as well. Looking at the Premium Hultafors as maybe a next purchase on the basis of this one.
