The heavy **Hultafors KLY 7-1.5 S splitting axe** is perfect when splitting stronger types of wood.

The axe head is forged from Swedish axe steel. The edge is hardened to make sure it is strong enough to stay sharp without breaking, but can also be sharpened. Basically everything you might be looking for in an axe head. The head is shaped as such that it cannot get stuck inside a log of wood. As such you can continue to work.
