The **LT Wright JX3** is a remarkable EDC knife, designed by Chris Tanner. He is known from the YouTube channel 'Preparedmind101'. He designed the JX3 in cooperation with Peter Kohler from Dark Timber Knives as a knife to carry with you on a daily basis, for many different tasks. From opening boxes to preparing food or even outdoor cooking when you go camping.



The extra attention paid to the construction of this knife has truly paid off. The handle is attached with strong pins for a mechanical construction. LT Wright combined it with naval grade epoxy. As such the construction is even more solid. Ready to be used!



## A2 steel blade


A2 is a tough type of strong tool steel that retains its sharpness well. An advantage of A2 is that it is easy to sharpen. Even when you are out in the field with limited means. Do, however, be careful with rust: A2 is not completely stainless. Pay close attention when working with moisture, salt and acids. This could change the colour of the blade or establish a *patina*. So clean it after use and occasionally add a couple drops of oil.



 The comfortable handle is made from micarta. A strong and light-weight material, made from linen and synthetic resin. Feels comfortable in hand, even in wet or cold circumstances.



This knife comes with a top-quality leather sheath.

LT Wright Knives is an American outdoor brand. At LT Wright Knives they still largely work in an old-fashioned way. By hand 'grinds' or 'bevels' are added to the blades, the handles are glued together and shaped, and even the entire knife is finished by hand. This means that there can be subtle differences between the different versions of the same knife. Both in terms of finish and size. This is also the charm of LT Wright Handcrafted Knives: each knife is unique. It also means that sometimes it is difficult to keep all knives in stock.
