The Mora Wood Carving 164 is a specialized tool for wood carving. It's very suitable for spooning wood, for example to cut spoons. The round shape enables you to carve wood in a way that you couldn't do with a regular knife. Compared to the Mora 162 and 163, this tool is more suitable for fine tuning.  
  


The blade is sharp on one side. The pointy end of the blade is very suitable for fine needlework. If you work creatively with wood carving, this tool is practically indispensable.

Degelijk mes, zeer scherp en ligt goed in de hand(toch in mijn hand)

This was a present for my brother.  It is just what he wanted - be wants to carve some spoons.  It strong and very sharp.  We used it on Christmas day on a bit of scrap wood and it was easy to get the hang of.

Sehr gut für Vertiefungen (Löffel, Tassen etc.) Wirklich extrem scharf!

Mooi en scherp , dit mes is zeker een aanrader voor de begginer bushcrafter/ lepelsnijder maar olie hem wel goed in want anders gaat hij begginen roesten 

De levering duurde erg lang, maar het plezier is er niet minder om. Het mes wordt scherp afgeleverd, zo scherp dat het al enkele snijwondjes heeft opgeleverd! Het is mijn eerste houtsnijmes, het is wel even wennen om met zo'n krom mes aan de slag te gaan.  Maar inmiddels heb ik met onder andere dit mes mijn eerste mijn eerste lepels en bakjes gesneden. Als begInner ben ik heel blij dat ik dit mes gekozen heb, met maar 1 snijkant. Dankzij de niet-geslepen kant is het mes goed te sturen en kan je tegen deze botte kant een beetje meeduwen. Het mes wordt zonder enige bescherming geleverd, dat is lastig met opbergen. Maar goed, voor zo'n prijs mag je niet klagen. Ik maak er zelf wel iets voor van leer.
Kortom, veel fun voor een vriendelijke prijs!
